“We’re so small it doesn’t matter what we do…”

…is a much heared argument especially in climate change discussions. Take as an example the graph above I came across a while ago about annual CO2 emissions from some bigger countries. The argument, from someone living in a muhch smaller country, went something like:

“And here WE are paying billions from climate action. Yet you cannot even see us in this graph!”.

The world has had enough of Trump’s NATO lie

From an administration famous for lying about just about everything, one of the most insane and insulting ones is about NATO and how, in the words of Trump “we are there for them, but they will not be there for us” in some form or another. The tragedy and hypocrisy of the Renée Good shooting

The shooting of Renée Good on January 7th of 2026 was a tragedy on multiple fronts. Beyond the death of a 37 year old mother of three, it was also a prime example of the brutal and escalatory nature of ICE’s conduct in Minnesota over the past few weeks. A letter to Norway

Is there anything more cringe and childish than this? Forget about the very serious underlying message here for a moment, what is this? This is how my two children have arguments. “You didn’t award me, therefor I will not be thinking about peace nananananaaaaa“. And “I grabbed it first” “No I grabbed it first” “No I did! Mom!!!“. The toddler-in-chief strikes again. What an embarassment.

“Stop calling us fascists!”

Okay here’s an idea: maybe stop using rhetoric that mirrors literal Nazi propaganda structures in your official communications? Putting out a statement so closely mirroring the infamous “Ein Volk, ein Reich, Ein Führer” nazi propaganda slogan, is either implausibly incompetent, or one of the most brazen dog whistles. If you want to believe an administration who’s been called fascist many times before and disagrees with that sentiment happens to put a message like this out on purpose, that strains credibility.
